Fingers Crossed – College Interview

The college was welcoming despite the limp handshake . . . The liaison officer was fabulous and made us feel at ease.  Showed us all around the vast corridors of the complex and has given us a few courses to think about. My son has shown interest in the electronics department in which you are given 4 weeks practical study in electronics, plumbing and construction.  Then students are parted off onto the different routes that they wish to study further. The second year being an apprenticeship offer if desired. All students have to take English and Maths no matter what their GCSE pass rates were which I think is great.  They are able to work on ahead too if one particular aspect has been grasped.  Next stage – filling in the application form and being recalled back to college.
